Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in North Goa. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations. Key responsibilities also include managing budgets, reconciling accounts, processing invoices and payroll, as well as assisting with audits and financial planning.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping
- Skills in using accounting software, financial tools, and spreadsheets
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prepare budgets, reconcile accounts, and manage payroll processes
- Effective communication and time management skills
- Proficiency in financial compliance and audit preparation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CA, CPA) and prior experience in real estate or luxury properties are a plus
