Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Haldwani. The Accountant will manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, conduct tax preparation and filing, and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Additional responsibilities include the reconciliation of financial statements, budget preparation, auditing support, and generating financial reports to support business decisions. Collaboration with team members and adherence to financial regulations are integral to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial recording, accounting software, and ledger reconciliation
- Knowledge in tax preparation, filing, and understanding of regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Attention to detail with effective record-keeping and audit preparation abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to prepare clear reports and interact effectively with stakeholders
- Adaptability to work on-site and collaborate within a team environment
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CA) are a plus
- Experience in the power solutions or energy infrastructure industry is advantageous but not mandatory
