Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Chandigarh. The Accountant will handle daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing payroll, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role requires ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing tax returns, and supporting audits. Additionally, the Accountant will assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and providing analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting skills, including proficiency in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Ability to prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and financial forecasts
- Proficiency in tax preparation and compliance with financial regulations
- Analytical skills for financial data analysis and insights
- Experience with accounting software and tools
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with Australian accounting and tax practices is an advantage
