About Ateli
Ateli is a fast-growing on-demand sourcing and delivery platform for construction and interior projects. We help sites get materials quickly with proper coordination, billing, and execution.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Manager who can independently manage accounting operations, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting using Zoho.
Key Responsibilities
- Zoho Books Management
- Must be familiar with Zoho Books or a quick learner to adapt.
- Maintain real-time and accurate records.
- Vendor Invoice Management
- Collect, call, or visit vendors to ensure all purchase invoices are received on time.
- Enter invoices into the system accurately.
- Client Billing
- Create GST invoices & e-way bills in real time.
- Ensure invoices are generated within 30 minutes of order confirmation (as dispatches cannot wait).
- Tax & Compliance
- File GST returns (monthly/quarterly as per requirement).
- Maintain reconciliations for GST input vs output.
- Ensure TDS, vendor GST numbers, and compliance documents are updated.
- Cash Flow & Banking
- Track payments receivable from clients, follow-up for overdue payments.
- Manage payables to vendors with accuracy & timelines.
- Handle day-to-day petty cash, UPI, and bank transactions.
- Startup-specific Responsibilities
- Build structured systems for invoice filing (digital & physical).
- Maintain client-wise & project-wise cost sheets.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports for management (daily order values, margins, receivables/payables).
- Support in audits, company compliance, and coordinating with CA.
- Flexible to multitask and take ownership of finance processes in a fast-paced startup environment.
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter preferred).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience (startup/SME experience a plus).
- Proficient in Tally/Zoho Books or other accounting software.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, e-way bills, and compliance.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills (to deal with vendors/clients).
- Ability to work under tight timelines and high-speed operations.
