Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant. In this position, the Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budget preparation, monitoring financial transactions, and preparing financial reports to support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and preparing financial statements
- Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and managing accounts payable/receivable
- Experience with bank reconciliation, financial analysis, and maintaining accurate financial records
- Knowledge of tax regulations, financial compliance, and auditing processes
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment
