Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, based in Mumbai. The primary responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting activities, conducting financial statement analysis, preparing tax returns, maintaining records for financial audits, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The Accountant will assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Accounting, Bookkeeping, and preparing Financial Statements
- Knowledge of Taxation, including Income Tax, GST, and TDS compliance
- Experience with Budgeting and Cost Control processes
- Proficiency in Accounting Software, ERP Systems, and MS Excel
- Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; CA or equivalent certification preferred
- Prior experience in a Chartered Accountant firm or similar professional services environment is a plus
