Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant at Pick Pocket's Mumbai location. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Additional responsibilities include budget management, financial forecasting, and assisting with audits to maintain the organization’s financial integrity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting practices, including financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance tasks
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with financial audits and regulatory standards is a plus
- Prior experience in a retail or manufacturing environment is advantageous
