As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, preparing budgets, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of accounting principles are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns, assisting with audits, and staying updated on changes in tax laws.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and systems, implementing changes to enhance eƯiciency and accuracy.
Audit Support: Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as required.
Financial Planning: Support financial planning activities by providing forecasts, projections, and financial models to assist in decision-making processes.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and policies, staying updated on changes and developments in the field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience working in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to upholding confidentiality and professionalism in financial matters.
