We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, transactions, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate bookkeeping, maintain financial data, and support compliance with statutory and taxation requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage financial operations efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Management
- Maintain daily accounting records, including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
- Prepare and manage financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Monitor cash flow and financial transactions related to ongoing solar projects.
Project & Tender Accounting
- Maintain financial documentation related to government tenders and project contracts.
- Track project-wise expenses and budgets for solar installations.
- Ensure accurate accounting of project procurement, vendor payments, and operational costs.
Compliance & Taxation
- Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Assist in audits, financial documentation, and tax filings.
Vendor & Payment Management
- Manage vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment processing.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for payment approvals and documentation.
- Maintain records of vendor contracts and payment schedules.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports and expense analysis for management.
- Monitor budget utilization for projects and report discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for government project billing and reimbursements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
- Experience with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage project-based accounting and vendor payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or renewable energy projects.
- Experience handling government project accounting is an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and vendors.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of project-based financial management is preferred.
