Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accountant based in Trivandrum. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They will also prepare financial reports, oversee budgets, reconcile accounts, and support team members with financial insights to drive organizational success.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including experience with financial recordkeeping and account reconciliation
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budget management, and handling general ledger accounts
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site setting
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is a plus
