Role Description This is a full-time Accountant role based in Raipur with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts. The role involves preparing invoices, monitoring payables and receivables, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. Additional responsibilities may include coordinating with external auditors, improving internal controls, and providing financial insights to support management decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow tracking.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel).
- Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and basic regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare clear reports, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, construction materials, or a similar industry is beneficial.
- Comfort with a hybrid work model and capability to manage tasks independently and responsibly.
