We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting department at ICC SAL in Nigeria.
Are you a financial professional with a passion for accuracy, compliance, and driving financial integrity? If you have a strong background in financial reporting, record-keeping, and petty cash management, we want to hear from you!
In this role, you will report directly to the Group Finance Manager and play a crucial part in supporting our financial processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial data, overseeing bank operations, and assisting with month-end closing procedures and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and complete financial records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Update the general ledger, assist with month-end closing, and perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, suppliers, and clients.
Oversee bank operations, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check guarantees, while managing the petty cash fund.
Support external audits and tax compliance by gathering necessary documentation and preparing supporting schedules.
Process payroll, verify calculations, and ensure compliance with relevant tax and deduction regulations.
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software (ERP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Fluent English language skills (both written and verbal).
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
