Role Description
Hummingbird Scientific is currently seeking Accountant to join its Finance team. The Accountant will play a vital role in overseeing the company's financial data and ensuring compliance. A suitable candidate must possess the necessary training to maintain precise financial records. This is an entry-level position with potential for growth and advancement within the department.This is a full-time, on-site Accountant 1 role based in Hyderabad.
Key Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations
- Trained in payroll processing and employee records maintenance
- Analytical mind with an aptitude for mathematics
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
Education and Experience Background
- BS in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience post-college
Additional Requirements
- Self-directed individual with excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- QuickBooks user preferred
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, Teams
- Exposure to year-end inventory in a manufacturing setting is a plus
