Position: Accountant (Finance & Accounting)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $7-$11/hr

Role Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis, review, and reconciliation of accounting data and reports
- Evaluate financial statements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Conduct audit-related tasks including testing, validation, and documentation review
- Create structured accounting and audit scenarios for real-world applications
- Identify discrepancies, control gaps, and areas of financial risk
- Support reporting processes and ensure alignment with accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial data quality and workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and audit processes
- Experience in audit firms, tax practices, corporate accounting, or advisory roles
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
- Knowledge of compliance standards and internal controls
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in financial statement review and audit testing
- Hands-on experience with reconciliation and variance analysis
- Basic knowledge of taxation and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of internal controls and risk assessment frameworks
