Job details:
To plan and deliver effective Accountancy lessons for Classes XI and XII, develop students’ conceptual understanding and practical application of accounting principles, and prepare them for CBSE Board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging Accountancy lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach concepts such as Journal, Ledger, Trial Balance, Financial Statements, Partnership Accounts, Company Accounts, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Develop students’ problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study materials.
- Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations through revision, practice tests, and remedial support.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support to students.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.
- Use appropriate teaching aids and digital tools to make learning effective.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, departmental meetings, school events, and academic activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve students’ academic performance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Class XI & XII Accountancy curriculum.
Experience
- 5+ years of teaching experience as a PGT -Accountancy in a reputed school.
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE Board examinations is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
