Role Overview:
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, reconciliations, and audit support. The role requires hands-on experience in Tally, GST/TDS filings, AR/AP management, and coordination with auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily accounting entries including sales invoices, purchase bills, payments, receipts, journal entries, and provisions in Tally ERP.
• Handle invoice and bill accounting ensuring accuracy and timely booking.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) including reconciliation, ageing analysis, and follow-ups.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny to ensure accurate financial records.
• Maintain vendor and customer masters and coordinate for invoice clarifications.
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
• Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure compliance with statutory timelines.
• Support month-end closing activities, provisioning, and MIS report preparation.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR), track additions, disposals and depreciation.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance-related recordkeeping.
• Assist in statutory, tax, and internal audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Support finance process improvements and adherence to internal controls.
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and MS Excel
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in AR/AP reconciliation and FAR reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications & Experience:
• B.Com or M.Com degree (mandatory).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, GST/TDS filing.
• Experience in a corporate finance environment is preferred.
• Candidates with CA Firm experience highly preferred.
