About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and result-driven Account Manager to handle and convert incoming leads. This role involves engaging with potential clients, understanding their requirements, and driving them through the sales funnel to closure. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with consultative selling, relationship management, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to inbound leads for pharma products and services.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle from lead qualification to closure.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including doctors, clinics, and healthcare partners.
- Follow up consistently to ensure high conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and sales updates in CRM.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Track sales performance and share regular reports with the management team.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Support hiring, training, and mentoring of future sales team members.
- Contribute to setting processes and building a scalable sales function.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in sales/account management.
- Preferred experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand pharma & nutraceutical products quickly.
- Leadership mindset with the ability to mentor and build teams.
- Experience in handling leads and closing sales is a must.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Excel.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and disciplined.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in pharma sales or healthcare startups.
- Exposure to B2B or doctor/clinic engagement.
