Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Manager [RCM] at Med Karma. The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery & communication of medical billing services (AR, Coding, Charge Entry, Payment Posting, etc.) of assigned US-based physician practices. The AM will ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded in terms of service quality, compliance, productivity, and turnaround time. This role acts as the primary liaison between internal operations and external clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Own and manage end-to-end service delivery across the RCM cycle for assigned clients.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise cross-functional teams including AR, payment posting, charge entry, and coding.
• Ensure adherence to client SLAs, quality benchmarks, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular governance calls with clients to present performance metrics and address concerns. • • • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as TAT, denial rate, AR aging, FPR, collection ratio, and quality score.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Handle client escalations and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in transition and onboarding of new clients as needed.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in US healthcare RCM, with at least 3 years in a client-facing leadership role.
• Strong understanding of the full RCM process including AR, Denials, Payment Posting, and Coding.
• Proven experience in managing service delivery teams and maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Excellent presentation and client relationship management skills. • Ability to analyze trends, generate reports, and present insights to stakeholders.
• Experience working on multiple PM/EHR platforms (Nextgen, eCW, etc.) preferred.
