Role Summary
The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial controls. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience with Tally ERP/ Tally Prime.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances, ensuring timely filing of returns.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow statements, and financial reports.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Review vendor and customer reconciliations and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, HR, and Operations teams on finance related matters.
- Lead and mentor the accounts team while driving process improvements and internal controls.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in commerce (B Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
