Customer Manager / Account Manager
About VEngage AI
vEngage AI is looking for a highly professional and customer-centric Customer Manager / Account Manager with strong experience in handling international healthcare customers. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer relationship management capabilities, strong communication skills, and proven expertise in customer success, account management, and business growth.
Role Summary
The Customer Manager / Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving long-term customer engagement, and identifying upselling opportunities. The candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers and work closely with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Act as the first level of customer interaction and account management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and customer success.
- Understand customer pain points, business challenges, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and drive resolution effectively.
- Conduct regular customer follow-ups, account reviews, and engagement discussions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and account growth within existing customers.
- Support sales initiatives and contribute towards business expansion.
- Maintain strong communication and coordination with global stakeholders and customers.
- Ensure proactive customer engagement and relationship management throughout the customer lifecycle.
Requirements
- Overall 10–12 years of professional experience with 5–8 years of relevant experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Customer Relationship Management.
- Strong experience working with international healthcare industry customers/clients.
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to build trust and deliver an excellent customer experience through calls and virtual meetings.
- Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively using the Eisenhower Matrix methodology by categorizing responsibilities into urgent, important, emergency, and business-critical activities to ensure operational efficiency and timely delivery.
- Proven track record in customer satisfaction, customer retention, and account growth.
- Strong customer-facing experience with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and approach issues strategically to drive effective resolution.
- Strong ownership mindset with professional customer handling capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with CRM tools and customer management platforms.
- Experience working with:
- Zoho CRM
- Other CRM and customer engagement tools
- Strong logical reasoning, customer handling, and coordination skills.
- Excellent business IQ, business understanding, and customer management capabilities.

- Experience handling global customer accounts within the healthcare industry.
- Strong experience in customer success management and account expansion.
