Role OverviewMidas Safe is seeking a high-caliber Accounts Manager with specific expertise in Export Oriented Unit (EOU) operations. You will be the financial backbone of our export activities, ensuring that our international transactions are seamless, compliant with customs regulations, and optimized for tax benefits.
Key Responsibilities (EOU Specific)- Export Documentation & Compliance: Oversee the financial aspects of export documentation, including Shipping Bills, Bank Realization Certificates
- Statutory Benefits: Claim and track export incentives such as Duty Drawback (DBK), RODTEP, and GST refunds (LUT filings).
- Banking Relations: Maintain strong relationships with banks regarding Letter of Credit (LC) negotiations, bank guarantees, and export bill discounting.
- Audit & Liaison: Represent Midas Safe during statutory audits and liaise with Customs and Central Excise departments for EOU-related clearances.
- Cost Accounting: Analyze the cost of production to ensure export pricing remains competitive while maintaining healthy margins.
Core Accounting Duties- Finalization of monthly and annual Balance Sheets and P&L statements.
- Management of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
- Ensuring 100% compliance with local tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
- Leading and mentoring the junior accounting team
