This is a full time on-site Surat based role for competent and self-driven accountant who can independently manage the complete accounting function for clients while serving as their trusted advisor. The candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for understanding their business and maintaining their books of accounts. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting principles, a thorough understanding of tax laws, and communication skills for co-ordinating with professionals
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for clients independently
• Co-ordinate with professionals directly for document collection, query resolution, and compliance updates
• Maintain and reconcile books of accounts using accounting software
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws, MCA filings, and other statutory requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance
• Strong working knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST laws
• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
• Familiarity with the Income Tax portal, GST portal, and TRACES
• Good communication skills for customer interaction
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
