Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Account Manager based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. As an Account Manager at ECL, you’ll own relationships with companies that have already received funding through our platform. Your focus will be helping founders successfully navigate their ongoing capital journey with ECL, from managing existing facilities to identifying opportunities for additional funding as their businesses grow.


You will work closely with founders, CEOs, and finance leaders to understand how their businesses are evolving and ensure they have access to capital when they need it. The role requires strong relationship management, financial curiosity, and the ability to guide customers through repeat funding decisions.


We’re looking for someone who can build long-term partnerships with founders, maintain visibility across a portfolio of funded companies, collaborate closely with underwriting and GTM teams, and consistently drive repeat funding opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of funded AI and SaaS companies, serving as the primary point of contact after the initial transaction closes.
  • Identify opportunities for additional tranches, renewals, and expanded facilities, helping founders access capital as their businesses scale.
  • Build trusted relationships with founders, CEOs, CFOs, and finance leaders by understanding their revenue metrics, operational challenges, and growth plans.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to stay aligned on company performance and future capital needs.
  • Partner closely with underwriting, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of repeat funding opportunities.
  • Track account activity, renewal pipelines, and expansion opportunities within the CRM to maintain accurate portfolio forecasting.
  • Help customers navigate operational questions related to their financing while ensuring a high-quality founder experience.
  • Surface insights from customer conversations to help improve ECL’s product offerings, platform services, and overall capital experience.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives focused on improving portfolio management processes and strengthening ECL’s long-term customer relationships.


Minimum Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in B2B SaaS account management, fintech, customer success, or founder-facing roles.
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust with founders and finance leaders.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS business fundamentals and metrics (ARR, churn, gross margin, CAC, LTV, burn, NRR).
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of accounts while identifying opportunities for expansion and repeat transactions.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where processes continue to evolve.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.


Bonus Points if you have:

  • Have experience working with financial products, capital, lending, receivables financing, or revenue-based financing.
  • Have supported portfolio companies, founders, or finance teams in a customer-facing capacity.
  • Have worked in an early-stage startup or fintech scale-up environment.
  • Have familiarity with venture capital, private credit, or founder ecosystems.
