ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an Account Manager who understands the pharma-agency dynamic and can own the commercial and relationship side of client engagements.
This role is the primary bridge between our clients and internal teams. You will attend client meetings, take structured briefs, build proposals, manage commercial approvals, and follow through until the project is in motion. You will be measured on how cleanly you scope, how promptly you follow through, and how well you grow the accounts you own.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own relationships with marketing and brand teams at pharmaceutical companies
- Pitch our creative and digital offerings to new contacts within existing accounts
- Attend client meetings, capture requirements clearly, and translate them into actionable internal briefs
- Prepare scopes of work, effort estimates, commercials, and polished proposal documents
- Coordinate with internal teams to validate timelines, effort, and costing before presenting to clients
- Handle proposal revisions arising from scope changes, client feedback, or budget discussions
- Drive commercial closures — follow up on approvals, purchase orders, and pending payments
- Maintain proactive client communication across active engagements
- Track open items, milestones, and project status across multiple accounts simultaneously
- Identify and develop additional work opportunities within existing client relationships
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 2–4 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or business development
- Prior exposure to healthcare advertising, pharma communications, medical communications, or healthcare content agencies
- Comfortable with commercial conversations — scoping, pricing logic, negotiation, and follow-through
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce polished client-facing documents
- Organised, detail-oriented, and responsive — you close loops rather than leave them open
- Good understanding of agency workflow and client approval processes in regulated industries
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without dropping the ball
