Role Overview:
The Account Manager – Sales & Business Development is responsible for managing Product Catalogue, Analytical Columns and growing relationships with key clients in the life sciences sector. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and driving business growth through strategic account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the life sciences pharmaceutical industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Provide technical and commercial support to customers regarding Product Catalogue Sales and Chromatographic columns and consumables.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive positioning.
- Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and networking events.
- Manage contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and meet/exceed revenue targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in sales or account management within the life sciences sector or other relevant Experience
- Strong understanding of analytical instruments and laboratory services.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and Team environment to manage multiple accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- 75% Traveling required at assigned territory
