Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Coimbatore. The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and repeat business. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with the service and workshop teams, preparing estimates and invoices, and tracking the status of ongoing service jobs. The role also involves identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services, managing follow-ups after service completion, and resolving issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner. The Account Manager will maintain accurate records of customer interactions, support basic reporting on account performance, and collaborate with management to improve processes and service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client accounts.
- Proficiency in communication, including clear verbal and written skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Basic sales and negotiation abilities to support upselling, cross-selling, and retention efforts.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, follow-ups, and service coordination tasks.
- Comfort with using computers and common office software; experience with CRM or billing tools is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates, invoices, and account documentation.
- Prior experience in automotive services, customer service, or account management is preferred.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, management, or a related field is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
