Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Chennai. The Account Manager will act as the main point of contact between clients and the internal creative team. The role requires someone who can understand client requirements, communicate clearly, coordinate projects, and also support content creation for social media, campaigns, websites, and brand communication.
The Account Manager will be responsible for handling client communication, preparing clear briefs, planning content, coordinating with designers, editors, copywriters, and marketing teams, and ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and aligned with the client’s expectations.
The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a strong understanding of social media content, the ability to write or guide content ideas, and the confidence to manage multiple clients and projects at the same time.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day communication with clients through calls, meetings, WhatsApp, and email.
Understand client requirements and convert them into clear creative briefs for the internal team.
Plan and coordinate content for social media posts, reels, campaigns, websites, and marketing materials.
Support content creation by developing ideas, captions, hooks, campaign concepts, and content calendars.
Coordinate with designers, video editors, copywriters, and marketing teams to complete projects on time.
Review creative outputs before sharing with clients to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Follow up with clients for feedback, approvals, content inputs, and project updates.
Maintain project timelines, task sheets, and delivery schedules.
Handle multiple client accounts and ensure smooth communication between the client and the team.
Participate in client meetings, understand business goals, and suggest creative solutions.
Support proposal preparation, presentations, and pitch discussions when required.
Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services or campaign improvements.
Qualifications
Strong client communication and relationship management skills.
Good understanding of social media content, branding, digital marketing, and creative campaigns.
Ability to create or guide content ideas, captions, hooks, reels concepts, and campaign directions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Tamil communication is an added advantage.
Ability to prepare clear briefs, status updates, content plans, and presentations.
Strong coordination skills to work with designers, editors, copywriters, and marketing teams.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects.
Basic understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, websites, ads, and content marketing.
Ability to think creatively and understand what type of content works for different brands.
Must be comfortable working on-site in Chennai.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in an advertising agency, branding studio, digital marketing agency, or client-facing role is highly beneficial.
