Role Description The Account Head is a full-time, on-site role based in DELHI, responsible for leading the accounting function and overseeing financial operations for the organization. This role involves managing the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and supporting audits and statutory filings. The Account Head will handle day-to-day account management activities, including monitoring receivables and payables, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintaining robust financial controls. The role includes supervising and mentoring the accounting team, setting performance goals, and driving process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. The Account Head will also provide financial insights to management, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Statements skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Candidates should possess robust Account Management skills, including handling receivables, payables, reconciliations, and stakeholder coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, with experience leading, mentoring, and developing accounting or finance teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements; proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present financial information to management.
