The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Accounts Head to lead and oversee the company’s finance and accounting operations. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes including receivables, payables, treasury, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Accounts Head will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and strengthening financial controls as the organization continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities🔹 Financial Management & Accounting Oversight
- Oversee general ledger, sub-ledger, and accounting records across the organization
- Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
🔹 Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
- Supervise vendor onboarding and maintenance of vendor records
- Ensure verification of invoices against approvals, contracts, and supporting documents
- Monitor vendor aging reports and liability schedules
- Approve payment proposals and ensure proper documentation
🔹 Accounts Receivable & Revenue Management
- Oversee invoicing processes based on operational confirmations
- Monitor receivable aging reports and collections follow-ups
- Ensure accurate maintenance of customer master data and billing records
🔹 Treasury & Cash Flow Management
- Monitor bank balances and prepare cash flow and cash position reports
- Oversee bank reconciliations and treasury activities
- Ensure effective working capital management
🔹 Statutory Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, ESI, and Professional Tax
- Maintain compliance trackers and coordinate statutory filings
- Support audit processes and maintain documentation for regulatory reporting
🔹 Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports
- Provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making
🔹 Documentation & Internal Controls
- Maintain strong documentation and accounting governance practices
- Ensure financial records are maintained in line with internal controls and audit requirements
🔹 Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with operations, logistics, and management teams on financial matters
- Support inventory costing documentation and financial records where applicable
Ideal Candidate Profile✔ B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CA / MBA Finance preferred
✔ 5–10 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or financial management roles
✔ Strong experience managing accounts payable, receivable, treasury, and statutory compliance
✔ Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian financial compliance frameworks
✔ Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, or similar systems
✔ Strong financial reporting, reconciliation, and documentation skills
✔ Excellent analytical, leadership, and organizational abilities
✔ High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple finance functions
