Role Overview
As a Cisco Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving transformative engagements with service providers, partners, and customers. You will leverage your strategic insight and relationship management skills to lead complex sales cycles and deliver tailored solutions that align with customer business drivers and Cisco's advanced technology portfolio. This role requires a strong focus on building executive relationships, managing large deals, and collaborating across teams to ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Engagement: Build and maintain executive-level relationships, particularly at the CxO level, to influence and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage large, complex deals by developing and executing effective sales strategies that maximize revenue and customer value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with extended teams and partners to ensure comprehensive solution delivery and customer success, embodying the "One Cisco" approach.
- Market Insight: Apply deep domain knowledge and technology awareness to align Cisco solutions with evolving customer needs and market trends.
- Financial Acumen: Utilize financial expertise to identify and qualify opportunities, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and robust opportunity management.
- Pipeline Management: Own full responsibility for managing sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle, maintaining pipeline excellence and accurate forecasting.
- Territory Planning: Complete quarterly territory planning and manage cross-architecture opportunities within the assigned account list.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrate strong relationship management skills to build trust and drive results with partners and customers.
- Technology Proficiency: Maintain comprehensive expertise in Cisco's portfolio, including competitive positioning and sales acumen.
- Adherence to Cisco Principles: Demonstrate Cisco's guiding principles in everyday interactions and decision-making

- Achieve assigned quota targets for the designated account list.
- Balance partner engagement with direct customer interaction.
- Utilize Cisco's Tech Stack and AI tools to drive scale and revenue growth.

- Fulfill a hybrid role with occasional travel for critical customer and partner engagements.
