We are currently hiring for an Accounts Executive role for a specialized e-commerce marketing platform that operates on a subscription basis, primarily designed as a Shopify application to help online stores increase sales through web push notifications.
Role Overview
We are looking for a quota-carrying Account Executive with strong experience in selling services to eCommerce brands. The ideal candidate comes from a digital agency background and has a proven track record of closing mid-market retainers or performance marketing engagements.
This role requires the ability to engage with founders, Heads of Marketing, and eCommerce leaders, understand their business challenges, and position tailored, service-led solutions that drive measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial discovery to deal closure for services engagementsIdentify, engage, and convert eCommerce brands, with a focus on Shopify and DTC businesses
Drive revenue by selling high-value marketing retainers and performance-led service offerings
Conduct consultative discovery calls to uncover growth gaps and identify revenue opportunities
Develop customized proposals and commercial models aligned with client objectivesLead contract negotiations and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Collaborate closely with SDR, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting within CRM systems
Ideal Candidate Profile
3–7 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 2+ years in marketing or agency services sales
Prior experience working at or selling for a digital marketing agency is highly preferred
Demonstrated success in selling services to eCommerce brands
Experience working with Shopify or DTC brands is a strong advantage
Proven ability to sell retainer-based engagements in the mid-market segment
Strong commercial acumen with a consultative approach to sales
Experience engaging with North American clients is a plus
Self-motivated, structured, and performance-driven
Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French or Mandarin) is an added advantage
