Role DescriptionSterile Safequip & Chemicals Limited is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive – Export & Import to join our team.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing export-import documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders and shipping lines, handling customs-related paperwork, and ensuring smooth documentation support for international shipments.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of export-import documentation, customs procedures, DGFT paperwork, ICEGATE portal work, shipment tracking, and compliance-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare export documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, and Shipping Bill.
- Handle LC / Letter of Credit documentation and related banking paperwork.
- Prepare and manage Customs and DGFT-related documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and logistics partners.
- Work on ICEGATE and customs portal documentation.
- Maintain export-import compliance documents and records.
- Track shipment status, container details, dispatch updates, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate internally with accounts, dispatch, production, and sales teams for required documentation.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of all export-import documents.
- Maintain proper filing and records of all shipment and export-import transactions.
Required Skills- Good knowledge of export-import documentation.
- Understanding of customs procedures, DGFT documentation, and ICEGATE portal work.
- Knowledge of LC documentation and shipping documents.
- Ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and internal departments.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge, MS Office, email communication, and documentation handling.
Preferred Candidate Profile- Minimum 2+ years of experience in export-import documentation or related accounts/logistics role.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or export-oriented companies will be preferred.
- Candidate should be responsible, organized, and capable of handling documentation independently.
