Job Title: Account Executive
Department: Accounts
Location: Vesu, Surat
Job Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, and effectively utilizing Zoho Books / Zoho Finance for financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Zoho Books.
- Maintain ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Monitor customer receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Prepare aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
3. Taxation & Compliance
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
4. Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Generate financial statements and MIS reports using Zoho.
- Support management with cash flow statements, expense analysis, and cost reports.
5. Audit Support
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails within Zoho.
6. Process Improvement
- Suggest improvements for automation and efficiency in Zoho Books.
- Ensure accuracy in data migration and integration with other systems (if applicable).
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books / Zoho Finance (Mandatory).
- Good analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Com / M.Com
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting.
- Software Skills:
- Zoho Books (Mandatory)
- MS Excel
- Tally (Optional)
