Job Title: Accounts Executive
About the Company
We are a fast-growing e-commerce and D2C organisation operating across multiple sales channels including our own website, Amazon, Nykaa, Myntra etc. As we scale, we are strengthening our finance and operations backbone and are looking for an Accounts Executive who can manage financial data with accuracy, discipline, and attention to detail.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day financial records and transactions. The role involves handling everything from routine data entry and reconciliations to assisting with budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial data accurately in internal systems
- Verify and correct discrepancies to ensure data integrity
- Track daily order-level records from Shopify
- Reconcile order data for Amazon and Flipkart
- Manage and reconcile marketplace and B2B platform transactions
- Maintain payment logs for inflows and outflows
- Prepare monthly reconciliation reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for accurate records
- Follow up with B2B partners on receivables and payments
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records
- Ensure proper expense classification and coding
- Support tax preparation and regulatory compliance
- Assist during audits and inspections
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
- 1+ year experience in Accounting, Data Entry, or similar role
- Working knowledge of Tally
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
