Position Overview:
SPEC Finance is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to support the organization’s financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in compliance-related activities, supporting transaction processing, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting functions within a professional IFSC environment.
The role requires strong analytical abilities, financial discipline, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced corporate finance ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial entries.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, payment records, and accounting documentation.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ledger reconciliation.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and fund tracking activities.
- Support GST, TDS, statutory filings, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, consultants, and vendors.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support finance reporting and MIS preparation as required by management.
- Assist senior finance professionals in operational and strategic finance activities.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally/ERP systems.
- Good analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under timelines in a dynamic financial environment.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Additional certifications in accounting or taxation will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Fresher to 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance operations preferred.
- Experience in NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, or IFSC ecosystem will be an advantage.
