Job Summary
Shills Professional is hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive with a strong accounting background to manage day-to-day accounts operations for our Crawford Market (Mumbai) and Mira Road (Thane) locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting entries, reconciliations, taxation basics, and advanced Excel skills.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain Sales and Purchase Book entries accurately in accounting software
- Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations (customer, vendor, bank)
- Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS) on a regular basis
- Assist in GST-related activities including invoice verification and basic return support
- Maintain records for TDS entries, deductions, and reconciliation
- Coordinate with internal teams for billing, payments, and outstanding follow-ups
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports using advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and timelines
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory requirements
Eligibility & Skills Required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in an accounting role (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (preferred)
- Practical knowledge of sales & purchase accounting
- Basic working knowledge of GST and TDS
- Strong command over Advanced MS Excel
- Experience with accounting software (Tally / ERP preferred)
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Immediate joiner or short notice period preferred
- Experience in FMCG / Beauty / Retail industry will be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
