Role Description The Account Executive role at Repak Global is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The individual in this role will manage and grow customer accounts, build long-term relationships with commercial and retail clients, and serve as a primary point of contact for packaging solution needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, preparing and delivering proposals, coordinating with internal design and production teams, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The Account Executive will monitor market trends, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet revenue and customer satisfaction targets. The role also involves regular client visits, presentations, and participation in reviews to support account retention and expansion.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management and account handling skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
- Proficiency in sales, negotiation, and business development activities, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and market trends, and translate them into suitable packaging solutions with clear value propositions.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with comfort in client-facing interactions and internal coordination.
- Experience in or strong interest in the packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG/food and beverage sector is highly beneficial.
- Comfort using CRM software and basic productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software) to track accounts and prepare reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, travel locally for client meetings, and collaborate closely with production and operations teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with a focus on meeting targets and deadlines.
