Job Opening: Accounts Executive (Billing & Data Entry)
Location: Vatva GIDC, Ahmedabad
Employment Type: Full-time
We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Accounts Executive to join our team in the heart of the industrial hub at Vatva GIDC. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy of our financial records, ensuring timely billing, and supporting the smooth operation of our back-office functions.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Documentation: Manage end-to-end billing processes, ensuring accuracy in invoices and delivery challans.
Data Management: Maintain precise records of financial transactions and inventory data within Tally.
Financial Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and party reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
Reporting: Prepare internal company reports and assist in the compilation of financial statements.
Back-Office Support: Coordinate office administrative tasks and manage documentation filing systems.
Deadline Management: Ensure all accounting entries and tax-related filings are completed within strict timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Tally (ERP 9 or Prime) and MS Office (specifically Excel for data analysis and Word for formal correspondence).
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight month-end deadlines.
Location: Ability to commute to Vatva GIDC, Ahmedabad.
Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with production and dispatch teams.
Recommended Additional Qualifications
To stand out, candidates with the following will be given preference:
GST Knowledge: Practical experience with GST portal entries, E-way bill generation, and basic return filing.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and rectify discrepancies in ledgers or inventory data independently.
Experience in Manufacturing: Prior experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setup (GIDC environment) is a significant plus.
