Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Account Executive. The Account Executive will manage client relationships, oversee financial reporting, support tax planning efforts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include liaising with clients, preparing financial reports, analyzing business performance metrics, ensuring timely filings, and providing strategic advice to aid in business growth. The role also includes overseeing bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll functions, as well as supporting capital-raising activities and investor reporting for clients.
Qualifications
- Financial management skills including bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Taxation experience, including tax planning, payroll tax, sales tax, and annual returns.
- Proficiency in compliance management, regulatory frameworks, and licensing processes.
- Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to provide strategic financial advice.
- Experience in FP&A, financial modeling, MIS reporting, and investor reporting is a plus.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines for filings and reporting.
- Familiarity with startup financing, funding compliance, and project financing is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
