Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to support day-to-day accounting and compliance activities for our costume styling and film production operations. The role involves handling vendor payments, bookkeeping, GST compliance, and basic financial reporting, while closely coordinating with production and creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounts, entries, and ledgers
- Record expenses related to productions, shoots, rentals, costumes, and logistics
- Maintain cash, bank, and petty cash records
- Assist in monthly closing of books
Vendor & Payment Management
- Process vendor bills, invoices, and reimbursements
- Coordinate with costume vendors, tailors, stylists, technicians, and production vendors
- Track advances given for shoots and settle them post-project
- Follow up on outstanding payments and collections
GST & Statutory Compliance
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
- Reconcile GST data with books
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance
- Coordinate with external CA / auditor as required
Production Support
- Maintain project-wise expense tracking for films, ads, OTT content, and styling assignments
- Support budgeting and cost tracking for shoots
- Maintain records for production-related contracts and invoices
General
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents
- Assist in MIS reports and basic financial summaries
- Support management with ad-hoc finance and admin tasks.
Requirements & Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent
- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST
- Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
