Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
- Track incoming payments and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain aging reports and ensure timely collections
- Coordinate with sales/operations teams for billing-related queries
- Record receipts and update accounting systems
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process vendor invoices after proper verification and approvals
- Prepare and execute vendor payments (NEFT/RTGS/UPI, etc.)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain proper documentation for all payable transactions
- Track due dates and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties
- Handle expense accounting and booking of purchase invoices
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records in ERP/Tally
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Prepare reports such as AR aging, AP aging, and cash flow
- Coordinate with auditors and internal teams when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
- 1–4 years of experience in AR & AP roles
- Good knowledge of Tally/ERP systems
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills
- Good communication and follow-up skills
Preferred:
- Experience in handling high-volume transactions
- Exposure to automation tools or payment platforms
