Role Description

The Global Capability Accounts Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations across international clients and vendors. The role involves invoicing, accounts payable and receivable management, bank transactions, financial reporting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and process customer and agent invoices accurately and within timelines
  • Maintain and update purchase entries and ensure proper documentation
  • Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activities
  • Monitor and manage customer outstanding balances and perform regular follow-ups
  • Review vendor Statements of Account (SOA), resolve discrepancies, and process payments
  • Execute payments to vendors, shipping liners, and agents in accordance with agreed terms
  • Manage and reconcile bank transactions and factoring accounts
  • Ensure timely invoice sharing with customers and maintain proper records
  • Prepare and analyze job-wise Profit & Loss (P&L) reports
  • Coordinate with customers, vendors, agents, banks, and internal teams (front & back office)
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy 



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance)
  • 1–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in logistics, shipping, or global services environment
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, and financial processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical ability
