About the RoleAre you a Tally expert who thrives on precision and proactive management? ASR Resin and Chemicals INC. is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant / Account Executive to join our team in Chennai.
In this dual-capacity role, you will be the backbone of our daily financial operations and administrative functions. From managing complex GST filings to streamlining office communications, your work will provide the data-driven insights we need for long-term strategic growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & Tax Compliance- Billing & Purchases: Execute daily billing, manage purchase entries in Tally, and raise POs for inventory.
- Taxation & E-Way Bills: Manage daily GSTR-1, monthly GSTR-3B, and TDS payments/filings. Must have strong knowledge of E-way bill generation.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate ledgers for debtors and creditors.
- Receivables Management: Take charge of payment recovery through proactive follow-ups via calls, emails, and WhatsApp.
- Accounting Lifecycle: Handle Credit/Debit notes and assist in closing/opening financial periods and updating audited balance sheets.
Administrative & Stock Support- Inventory: Conduct daily stock audits in Tally and support the team with inventory reporting.
- Correspondence: Prepare formal quotations and manage professional business communications.
- Documentation: Maintain a rigorous digital and physical filing system for financial and legal records.
- Reporting: Provide accurate financial data to management to support business planning.
Who You Are- Educated: You hold a B.Com, or a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Experienced: You have 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Tech-Savvy: You are an advanced user of Tally (Prime/ERP 9) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledgeable: Deep understanding of GST processes, TDS regulations, and Indian accounting standards.
