Your role is to turn qualified leads into enrolled families and ensure their initial weeks begin with clarity, confidence, and participation.
This is not a rigid, script-driven SDR position. You will control the entire conversion journey—from consultative discovery through close to early-stage activation. You will also contribute to building the playbooks the team relies on, including AI-powered workflows that enhance both quality and velocity without reducing messages to impersonal templates.

What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct consultative discovery calls that assess fit, address objections, and lead to a definitive enroll-or-disqualify decision
- Manage your CRM pipeline with proactive outreach, rapid responses to inbound inquiries, and clear next steps documented in every interaction
- Establish realistic onboarding and ramp expectations prior to closing, then support new enrollments through initial steps to secure active participation
- Apply AI tools for call preparation, outreach personalization, and increased throughput while preserving context and precision
- Create and distribute straightforward sales playbooks grounded in actual win/loss data and performance metrics to improve team-wide conversion consistency
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Sending high-volume generic sequences or relying on scripts that avoid substantive questions
- Closing transactions without verifying mutual fit or without transparent communication about onboarding and early ramp realities
- Transferring a new enrollment and assuming someone else will resolve early confusion or address churn risk indicators
- Operating in a low-accountability environment where you lack authority to refine processes or influence sales approach
Account Executive Key Responsibilities
This role exists to ensure qualified prospects reliably convert into enrolled families who launch with confidence, grasp the onboarding process, and participate actively from the start.
Basic Requirements
- Demonstrated capability to facilitate consultative sales discussions that establish transparent expectations and conclude with a clear yes/no decision
- Proven track record of managing a pipeline or workflow with zero missed follow-ups and rigorous CRM discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication that remains personalized, precise, and contextually appropriate
- Practical experience using AI tools to enhance sales execution quality and efficiency (not merely to produce generic content)
- Capacity to work autonomously in a dynamic, ambiguous setting while delivering quantifiable results
- Availability for remote, full-time work, operating mainly during US Central Time Zone business hours (some flexibility permitted)
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Background selling education, tutoring, homeschool, or subscription offerings with a complex, high-consideration buyer journey
- History of developing practical sales playbooks or workflows that gain genuine adoption among peers
- Ability to analyze data to identify conversion trends across phases (discovery, follow-up, close, early activation)

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
