Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, for an Account Executive with an agro background. The Account Executive will oversee existing client accounts while building and maintaining relationships with distributors and sub-distributors. Key responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, promoting GCIL’s agrochemical products, identifying growth opportunities, preparing detailed sales reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support. Collaboration with internal teams and staying updated on industry trends will also be a crucial part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the agriculture and agrochemical industry, including crop protection products, and market trends
- Proven abilities in sales strategies, relationship management, and account handling
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, report preparation, and basic financial concepts
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and goal-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant industry experience
