Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and compliance-focused Account & Finance Controller to manage end-to-end financial operations, taxation, statutory compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure financial discipline, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency while supporting management with accurate financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Financial Operations & Accounting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
🔹 Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Prepare and file Direct & Indirect Taxes (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
- Ensure timely statutory payments and returns
- Handle audits (internal, statutory, and tax audits)
- Manage end-to-end ROC filings and corporate compliance
🔹 Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures
- Provide MIS reports and financial dashboards to management
🔹 Systems & Reporting
- Ensure accurate accounting in Tally and financial systems
- Generate management reports using MS Excel and other tools
- Maintain documentation and compliance records systematically
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, ROC, and statutory regulations
- Hands-on expertise in Tally and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
