We are now looking for a Account Director who can oversee multiple Account Managers, ensure operational excellence, improve client retention, and help scale delivery systems within the agency.
Role Overview:
The Group Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts indirectly through Account Managers and Junior Executives.
This role focuses on:
- delivery quality,
- client retention,
- team management,
- escalation handling,
- reporting standards,
- operational efficiency,
- and process building.
You will act as the bridge between leadership and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Account Oversight
- Manage and oversee 5 Performance Marketing Managers and their respective teams, each Account Manager manages 5-6 Clients.
- Ensure smooth execution across multiple ecommerce and D2C accounts
- Monitor campaign performance and account health regularly
- Review reporting quality, communication standards, and timelines
Client Management
- Handle client escalations and critical discussions
- Participate in strategy and review calls with key clients
- Ensure strong client satisfaction and retention
- Identify upsell and growth opportunities within existing accounts
Operational Excellence
- Build and improve SOPs, workflows, and reporting systems
- Standardize account management processes across teams
- Ensure task accountability and delivery consistency
- Improve internal coordination between performance, creative, and account teams
Team Development
- Mentor and guide Performance Marketing Managers
- Train team members on communication, reporting, and operational processes
- Identify performance gaps and help improve team productivity
Performance & Growth
- Ensure accounts achieve performance benchmarks
- Work closely with Performance Marketing Executive teams to improve results
- Help leadership improve operational scalability and reduce delivery bottlenecks
Requirements
Must Have
- 5–6 years of experience in performance marketing agencies
- Experience handling multiple D2C/ecommerce clients
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads and Google Ads ecosystem
- Prior experience managing performance marketing team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong process orientation and operational mindset
Good to Have
- Experience working with high-spend d2c ecomm brands
- Understanding of creative strategy and retention marketing
- Experience building SOPs and scalable delivery systems
- Ability to manage fast-paced agency environments
