ABOUT THE ROLE The Account Director Media is the business owner for every brand they lead inside Wirality?s performance ecosystem. You orchestrate the intersection of: Media performance Creative direction Client communication Revenue & account growth Your north star is profitable delivery for both the client and the agency. This role is equal parts strategic, operational, analytical, and commercial. You ensure performance, relationships, financials and creative?media alignment all move in sync. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Ownership & Relationship Management Primary POC for all clients under your portfolio Lead weekly performance reviews and quarterly growth presentations Translate business goals into actionable media & creative roadmaps Maintain structured communication and expectation management Have a pulse on client sentiment at all times
- Media Performance Management Daily oversight of Meta, Google & Amazon performance Diagnose creative fatigue, scaling challenges, funnel drop-offs Work with Media Buyers to optimise targeting, bidding, placements & budgets Drive full-funnel strategy based on performance data Sync media insights into creative briefs and production cycles
- Creative Media Alignment Translate data patterns into highly actionable creative strategies Co-own creative briefs with Creative Strategists Ensure UGC, statics, videos & copies match platform best practices Maintain a ?Creative Testing Pipeline? synced with creators & editors Own quality of output delivered to clients
- Planning, Forecasting & Reporting Build monthly/quarterly plans with growth projections Report performance with insight-led narratives Identify creative and media tests for upcoming cycles Provide category benchmarks and competitor intelligence Communicate risks & opportunities with transparency
- Revenue Ownership & Financial Control This role is responsible for the commercial health of the account, you will: Own monthly revenue targets for your client portfolio Drive upsells, additional scopes, new services and campaign extensions Identify opportunities for selling UGC packages, creative retainers, production add-ons, etc. Track performance-linked fee opportunities (bonuses, success-based payouts) Ensure accurate billing, time tracking, and scope management Flag scope creep and propose structured upgrades or retainers Maintain profitability of the account through smart resource planning You are the financial controller on the account ensuring that while performance grows, the agency grows too.
- Internal Collaboration & Project Flow Push clarity and alignment across Media Buyers, Strategists, Producers & Editors Manage timelines and dependencies end-to-end Ensure smooth, predictable delivery cycles Troubleshoot blockers before they become breakdowns
- Quality, Process & Operational Ownership Maintain 100% tracking & attribution hygiene Ensure naming conventions, dashboards, UTMs and pixel setups are correct Uphold Wirality?s templates, systems and delivery standards Guarantee consistent, high-quality work across every touchpoint KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Media & Performance Skills Strong understanding of Meta
Google campaign frameworks Ability to read data patterns and convert them into actionable insights Understanding of creative performance drivers (hooks, formats, fatigue, retention) Proficiency in full-funnel dynamics and scaling levers Revenue & Account Growth Skills Confident in identifying upsell opportunities Strong grasp of scope management & profitability tracking Ability to build compelling business cases for new services Comfortable discussing commercials and performance-linked fees with clients Client & Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written clarity Able to deliver insights, not just reports Skilled at framing problems and recommending solutions Strong meeting management and stakeholder alignment Project & Leadership Skills Thrives in fast-paced environments Strong time management and prioritisation Proactive escalation and structured problem solving Able to align diverse teams toward shared goals WHO YOU ARE You think like a strategist, communicate like a marketer, and operate like an account owner You?re obsessed with performance and creative synergy You?re financially aware and not afraid of revenue conversations You?re organised, proactive and detail-oriented You manage up, manage down and manage clients with equal clarity QUALIFICATIONs 3-5 years in Performance Marketing, Media Account Management, Growth or Digital Strategy Hands-on understanding of Meta & Google Ads Experience working with creatives, producers, or UGC teams is a plus Agency background preferred Comfortable leading client calls and owning P&Ls SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE Your accounts grow in both performance and revenue Clients rely on you for clarity, recommendations, and direction Your media & creative teams always have unblocked workflows Creative cycles are fresh, aligned, and strategically informed No surprises ? you proactively manage expectations You own the business and the business grows OTHER QUALIFICATIONs Love TV and cinema Proven social media content creation skills (FB, Insta, tweets or any other platform) Thorough knowledge of all social media platforms Good collaborator Great with feedback and revisions Consistency in work Time management Getting coffee for all (Just kidding we drink tea) We pride ourselves on being a human first company and try our hardest to make this a place where you would want to spend the rest of your career at.
