Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Account Director to lead client relationships, drive business growth, and oversee the successful delivery of integrated marketing and advertising campaigns. This role requires a balance of client leadership, strategic thinking, and team management to ensure exceptional results and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary senior point of contact for key clients
- Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships based on trust and performance
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
- Lead client presentations, reviews, and strategic discussions
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Drive the development of integrated marketing strategies across digital, media, creative, and content
- Ensure campaigns align with client goals and deliver measurable impact
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and recommend innovative solutions
Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor Account Managers and Account Executives
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (creative, media, performance, strategy) to deliver high-quality work
- Ensure seamless communication and workflow across departments
Business Growth & Revenue
- Own account profitability, revenue targets, and forecasting
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clients
- Support new business pitches and proposals when required
Campaign Oversight & Performance
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and optimize for ROI, ROAS, and other KPIs
- Ensure quality control and consistency across all client deliverables
Key Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience in account management within an advertising or digital agency
- Proven experience managing large, complex client accounts
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, media planning, and brand strategy
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Ability to think strategically while managing executional details
- Commercial acumen with experience handling budgets and revenue targets
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with integrated campaigns (digital, social, performance, branding)
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret campaign analytics
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience in fast-paced agency environments
