Job Title: Account and Finance Manager
Department: Sales / Finance / Client Services
Location: Yewale Amruttulya Pvt. Ltd. – Head Office, Pune
Salary: 50K to 70K CTC per month
Job Summary: The position of Account Manager is being requisitioned to strengthen overall financial governance and ensure effective account handling across the organization. The role is critical to maintaining strong accounting control, improving financial efficiency, and supporting business sustainability.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting & Book Closure
· Ensure accurate accounting and timely daily, monthly, and annual book closure
· Maintain proper accounting records in compliance with statutory and internal policies
· Review and validate accounting entries, journal vouchers, and ledgers
Cash Flow Management
· Monitor daily cash position and fund availability
· Plan and prioritize payments to ensure liquidity and operational continuity
· Optimize cash inflows through effective collection follow-ups
· Prepare cash flow forecasts (short-term and long-term)
Financial Planning & Budgeting
· Support preparation of annual budgets and financial plans
· Track actual performance against budgets and analyze variances
· Assist management in financial planning and cost optimization strategies
Financial Analysis & Decision Support
· Perform profitability and margin analysis for informed business decisions
· Provide financial insights and analytical support to management
· Evaluate financial impact of business strategies and operational changes
Working Capital Management
· Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory levels
· Improve working capital efficiency through debtor and creditor control
· Reduce outstanding balances and improve cash conversion cycle
Banking & Loan Management
· Loan planning & Documentation
· Bank Coordination
· EMI Tracking
· Financial ratio preparation
· Loan MIS
· Bank submission File
· Ratio Analysis Sheet
Cost Control & Profit Improvement
· Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets
· Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
· Track cost trends and support profitability enhancement initiatives
MIS & Financial Dashboard
· Prepare and present accurate MIS reports for management review
· Develop and maintain financial dashboards for performance tracking
· Analyze trends, variances, and key financial metrics
Compliance & Audit
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal controls, and company policies
· Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation
· Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
Task-Based Responsibilities
Daily Tasks
· Update daily cash position
· Plan and process payments
· Collection follow-ups with customers
· Bank entry verification and accounting checks
Weekly Tasks
· Review weekly cash flow position
· Outstanding receivables analysis
· Expense vs. budget review
· Follow-up on overdue payments
Monthly Tasks
· Profitability and margin analysis
· Preparation and submission of MIS reports
· GST, TDS working and statutory filings
· Monthly closing activities and variance analysis
Required Skills & Competencies
Financial & Accounting Skills
· Cash Flow Management – Daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow monitoring, planning, and optimization
· Budgeting & Forecasting – Hands-on experience in annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
· Financial Planning & Financial Analysis – Ability to analyze financial statements and provide decision-support insights
· Ratio Analysis – Strong understanding and practical application of key financial ratios including:
o DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio)
o ROCE (Return on Capital Employed)
Taxation & Compliance Skills
· GST Knowledge – Strong working knowledge of GST compliance, returns, reconciliations, and filings
· TDS Knowledge – Hands-on experience in TDS calculation, deductions, returns, and statutory timelines
· Awareness of statutory compliance, audit requirements, and regulatory reporting
Technical & System Skills
· Advanced Excel Skills – Proficiency in:
o Pivot Tables
o VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
o IF & nested formulas
o Data analysis and reporting
· Experience with accounting software / ERP systems
· Ability to prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards
Analytical & Professional Skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to interpret data and support management decision-making

Qualification
· B.Com
· M.Com
· CA Intern (CA Inter qualified / pursuing) will be an added advantage
· MBA – Finance
Experience :
· 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance functions
· Strong hands-on exposure to core accounting activities, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and timely book closure
· Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
· Demonstrated capability in cash flow handling, liquidity planning, collections management, and working capital control
· Hands-on exposure to financial analysis including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and management decision support
· Experience in Manufacturing Industry with exposure to:
o Costing and cost control
o Inventory and working capital management
o Production-related financial analysis
o Coordination with plant / operations team
· Exposure to MIS reporting, compliance, and audit support will be an added advantage
